Creating our new website made me look back at our start!
How do you like our new look? For the past two months I have had the pleasure of working with Debra
Fowler and her colleagues to update and innovate our website. Not only do we have a new look, but we
have added more information and new pictures. I am excited that you can now see all the products we
offer and the prices of our products. You can now easily order right off the website.
Looking back at when Bobby and I first started offering our beef to the public, our priorities were so
different than they are now; however, the core ideals of the business are still the same. Our main focus
has changed from getting the customer to try our beef to building our customer’s trust and education
about our beef. If you have ever visited the farm or had time to chat with us at the farmer’s markets,
you know we LOVE to tell you all about our operation. We are not shy about answering any questions
you may have.
When we decided to start the grass-fed beef side of the farm, we didn’t realize that the public would be
so interested in our farm. We were pushing the product itself, and never thought that anyone would
like hearing about our day to day happenings. We have even had customers come and look at the
animal before being processed. What a compliment to us that they would be that interested in the beef
that they are consuming.
Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes. Since starting the Grass-fed Beef business, I have been trying
and modifying all kinds of beef recipes. I have shared our family’s favorite recipes with our customers
for the past few years. With the new and improved website, I will be able to share these recipes with
you. They will be easy for you to read and find. All the recipes have been made with our beef, so the
times and temperatures are given so that you have the best tasting and tender beef!
